“white, wood, colors”.

Three are the watchwords to define, measure and shape this project, describing the three steps that led to its realization.

The white color coats this open space created in a habitable attic _ the empty container_ which has been filled at a later time by including some OSB panels to define the various functions of daily living and separate particularly the living from the sleeping area, while maintaining the overall unity of the space. The bathroom is separated from the openspace, but keeps the same chromatic consistence.

Finally, the last step was to confer new dimension and depth to these spaces using color, which gives them life and dynamicity, function fulfilled by the furnishings, which were all custom made (the sofa, the kitchen, the closet, etc.), as well as the partitions.

This is a choice raised from the particularity of this space: create a tailored environment. A choice that has turned into a special attention in the placement of functions and contents, but also in the evaluation of the right color amount on the white background of the container.
